Curly hair can be beautiful, thick and full of volume. Curly hair can also be frizzy and out of control. One way to tame wild hair is with the correct hair products and aflat iron. By using the correct hair and styling products, you can tame even the most unruly of hair.

You must start by washing your hair and then using a styling mousse or gel. Although generally more expensive, it's worth it to use professional styling products. For curly hair, you might consider using an anti-frizz shampoo or even a straightening shampoo. A hair stylist can help you determine which products are best for your particular style and cut.

Once you have applied product to your clean hair and dried it all, you will want to section off your hair. The thicker your hair, the more sections you will need. Start on the underside with the first section of hair and apply thermal spray to that specific section. Again, professional products will give you better results and will help protect your hair from damage. After you have sprayed the thermal spray, take yourflat iron and slowly pull the flat iron through the entire section of hair. If you would like a small bend under or outward, simply tilt the flat iron the direction you want your hair to go. The same way it's important to use professional hair care products, it's also important to use professional flat irons, such as a CHI hair straighteners.

If after the first pull through, your hair is still slightly curly, simply pull the flat iron through for a second time. The slower you pull it through, the better your results will be. Once your section has been straightened to your satisfaction, move onto the next section of hair and repeat throughout your whole head.

When finished using a flat iron, it's always a good idea to seal the style with a little bit of antri-frizz or straightening serum. To do this, apply a very small amount between your fingers and run them throughout all of your hair. Remember that a little goes a long way and using too much will make your hair look oily.

Curly hair can at times seem like a lot of work. But with the correct tools and hair products, any head of hair can look super-model perfect every day of the week.
