. Probably, this trend is getting more popular than any other form of art nowadays, as Internet and blogging penetrate in every issue of social, cultural and economic livelihood. To get your blog in a good shape the creator should possess the simplest skills of web-design. In this context knowledge of the terms and definitions seems reasonable. For instance, there are three main types of fonts in a common usage.

1.Outline fonts is formed with strict and curve lines. Most of them are united in two groups OpenType and TrueType, which have distinguishing and specific features. OpenType, in fact, is the add-on of TrueType. Outline typefaces might be scaled and turned on different angles. TrueType fonts are printed as they are seen on a computer screen. Among the best examples of outline fonts Windows usually provides Arial, Courier New, Lucida Console, Times New Roman, Symbol and Wingdings.

2.Vector fonts are based on mathematic models. They were one of the earliest computer fonts designed and nowadays they continue preserving high demand, especially in plotting devices. The most popular vector fonts are Script, Roman and Modern. Moreover, vector font is always converted to a pixel, and with very high resolution, which is especially important and is a definite advantage if a photo will be printed on a printer or through image setter. Certain compute applications are dependable on vector typefaces solely.

3.Bitmap fonts are stored in files in the form of bitmaps that are created by displaying a series of points on the screen and paper. It is a digital font, in which each character is described as a series of dots (pixels), consistently filling its outline. A character in a bitmap format is easily replicated by any digital output device, but the difficulty is to change the zoom, so now bitmap fonts are almost entirely replaced by the vector group of typefaces. Defects of bitmap fonts are benefits of outline group, as far as they cannot be scales or tuned in the angle. Botmap fonts are usually designed for a specific printing device with a specific resolution capacity. Examples of bitmap fonts include Courier, MS Sans Serif, MS Serif, Small and Symbol.

Hence, while creating a web-page one should consider the possibility of further printing and creating printable texts. In addition, readability and visual image is prior issue to take into account.
