In June 1976, Fiesta was on display at the Le Mans 24 hours race and this car was launched and sold in France and Germany in September 1976.

The invention of Ford Fiesta Mark II appeared towards the end of summer 1983. The production period was 1983 to 1989 in Spain (Almshouses), U.K. (Dagenham), Germany (Cologne, Saarinen).
