The ford fiesta is a coupe which is larger than a city car but smaller than a small family car (usually not exceeding 165 inches and near about 4,191mm). It is contrived and marketed by Ford Motor Company. This coupe is built in Europe, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, China, India, Thailand and South America. The present construction of Fiesta is marketed widespread. This car has sold over 12 million units from the era 1976.

Originally the improvement of the fiesta was under the project name of Bobcat and it was approved for development by Henry Ford II in September 1972. The car had a wheelbase longer than that of the Fiat 127 but overall length shorter than Fords Escort. Finally the projects suggestion of this car was developed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia. While the design of this car was begun by Ford of Europe, the proposals of the design were named Iris, Beta, The Deutschlander (from Fords cologne studios), Mini-Mite and the Blue Car (from Ghia). Tori no was the code name for the Fiesta prototype but it became project Bobcat.

The project Bobcat team gave the names of this car which were Amigo, Bambi, Bebe, Bolero, Cherie, Tempo, Chi co, Fiesta, Morita, Metro, Pony and Sierra. Among of them the name Fiesta belonged to General Motors at the time. In June 1976, Fiesta was on display at the Le Mans 24 hours race and this car was launched and sold in France and Germany in September 1976.

The body structure was 3 door hatchback and 3 door panel van and diesel is used as a fuel as well as also used petrol. For the diesel engine, the power consumption was 54PS (40kw). This car contains the wheelbase (2286nm), length (3565nm), width (1567nm) and height (1360nm). 4 or 5 speed manual gearbox is used for this car.
