It seems like a Fordyce spot cure because it drastically reduces the size and appearance of the sebaceous glands and the production of the sebum. Applied twice daily to the affected area, these topical medications are typically effective within seven days. It is important to thoroughly clean the area first with an unscented cleanser and to let the gel absorb completely into the skin for full effectiveness. The best products have Vitamin E in them to nourish the skin and reduce toxicity. An essential part to fighting the hold this condition has on so many lives is promoting public awareness.
