There is no question that Florida and especially Miami have so much more to offer than almost any other place in the country
. Florida boasts exciting theme parks, beautiful beaches, fun sporting events, and a wonderfully diverse population. Miami takes all that Florida has to offer and condenses it into just over fifty-five square miles. Miami has parks and recreation, sparkling white-sand beaches, a diverse population, professional and college sporting events, and more! Americans travel to Miami Beach every year to enjoy its beautiful weather, but they aren't the only ones taking Miami by storm. Foreign buyers from Latin American, Europe, and other places are getting great financing on some of Miami's most beautiful condominiums.
The Palm Beach Post reports that twenty-two percent of foreign buyers who purchase real estate in the United States are doing so in Florida. The paper also reported that the median price foreign buyers have paid nationally is just over two-hundred thousand dollars. That must be what makes Miami so popular! With the cost of luxurious, high-priced condos dropping, the Miami and Sunny Isles real estate markets are certainly attractive.
According to Palm Beach Post, foreign buyers make up approximately thirty percent of real estate sales in the Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade areas. The paper also says that abut eighty-two percent of foreign buyers paid for their properties in cash. Many foreign buyers can get financing with just thirty percent down. Many of them are getting financing and buying luxury ocean front condos in Bal Harbour, Miami Beach, and South Beach.
So, foreign investors are buying properties in these areas, but what are they doing with them? When a person invests in something like real estate, he or she probably doesn't have any intention of really using it. The investor is only purchasing it so that he or she can hang on to it until it increases in value, or maybe to rent it out. People love to rent condos all down the coast of Florida, and many of them are doing it in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade. These people want a piece of the Florida pie, but they may not be able to live there. International investors list these properties online so that interested renters can snatch them up temporarily.
Miami Beach and Sunny Isles are simply great places to buy property, even for people who live outside of the United States.
