Fraternity parties or frat parties for short are wonderful parties which are filled with fun, games, music and much more. For a frat party to be a success you need good music and there are many DJ's who specialize in providing frat music. Frat music involves playing music according to the fraternity taste. Some fraternities love to have themed parties and the frat music has to provide for that theme. Experienced DJ's would play this music according to the theme and hence if you are planning to be a DJ, you can specialize in just frat-music.
There a few rules for frat parties that have been created by the IFC, which is the governing council for frat parties. They are:
There has to be proper lighting. Lighting should not be too much or too little. Too much could result in fire hazards and too little could injure people.
Frat parties should provide unsalted food. This is due to the concept that salted food will make a person thirsty and this would make the person drink more alcoholic drinks. So unsalted food should be kept at these parties.
People under 21 should not be offered alcoholic drinks.
Non alcoholic drinks should be provided for people under 21 years.
The above mentioned rules are just a few, there are more. These rules are there to control the frat music parties and to ensure that everybody has fun. As most people think, these parties are not about drinks only. Frat partying are about fun with lots of music and dance.
