Frequently Asked Questions about of our Process of Beating Red Light Tickets by:Steve Miller
Once our clients have secured our services and gone through the initial process to
beat their red light tickets (call us for details), they often ask the following:
What if the court dismisses my red light ticket?
The court will remove the point on your driving record associated with the red light ticket infraction and then issue you a full refund of your bail amount.
What if the court finds me guilty or I are unsatisfied with the court's decision regarding my red light tickets?
The court will allow you to have a new trial also known as a Trial De Novo. As required by the court, you must submit a written request for a new Trial; form TR-220, within 20 calendar days of the court's decision. As soon as you get your results from the court regarding your Trial by Written Declaration, you must contact
http://www.howtofightredlighttickets.com so we can process the TR-220 on your behalf.
A TR-220 (Trial De Novo) indicates, "all things are new" (Judge, Venue and Evidence) and occurs in court, with you in person. If the court accepts and approves this request for a new trial for your red light ticket, you will have to go to court in person. An accepted Trial De Novo is always performed in person, in court. If, indeed, you do have a new trial, before going to court, contact one of our experts at 800.850.8038 for more information.
As we are strictly a professional filing agency (not a law firm) we do not offer representation for you in court. Instead, we will process the request with the court for a new trial on your behalf and you will have to make the personal appearance in court yourself for the red light tickets that are not dismissed based on the initial Trial by Written Declaration.
If I am found guilty in court, will I still qualify for traffic school for my red light tickets?
As long as you have not been to traffic school in the last 18 months and the court honors traffic school for the type of violation you committed, you will get traffic school upon requesting it from the judge. According to Vehicle Code section 42005 and pertaining to People vs. Wozniak, you still have the option to attend traffic school even after you have been found guilty of the alleged violation.
