Full Sail Online Marketing Degree - Legitimate or Rip Off
The Full Sail online marketing degree program offers a pretty good program for internet marketing, although it is quite costly. College can be very expensive regardless of which school you go to, if you are pursuing a bachelor degree or Masters degree. So it's not unusual to have to pay $50,000 to $90,000 in order to receive one of those degrees. However, what seems unreasonable is the high cost of an online degree in relation to a campus degree. That is what this review will focus on.
When you attend a college campus, there are inherent costs built in like teachers salaries, brick and mortar business buildings, computers for students to use, and land and security guards and a host of other physical applications. But, when a college or university offers an online degree, then the student is paying for his own building or rent, his own computer, his own parking lot, his own everything because the student is at home working on a degree online. Therefore it stands to reason, if there are less expenses for the college, then the online version of a degree program should be less expensive: not so.
Full Sail University, like many other online schools, is incredibly expensive. Just receiving a bachelor degree at Full Sail U requires over $53,000 in tuition costs, and another $30,000 if you go on to a Masters Degree. And once again, that is if you are learning at home online, just watching video tutorials. Remember, you must pay your rent, buy computers, feed yourself, etc etc. For the average person these kinds of numbers are just not affordable in today's economy, and most people would say that 0ver $80,000 for watching videos is outrageous....and some people who are honest would use the term ripoff.
Compare this to an online school like iMMACC which offers a similar internet marketing package for less than $5,000 and also comes with a built in turn-key business opportunity that allows the student to actually earn more money than he is spending. It's an urban legend that you need a college degree to get a job. What people need is knowledge and education, and an expensive university is not the only place to receive that. There are legitimate, and less expensive alternatives, if you are interested in learning internet marketing and becoming an online student with a future career in networking around the planet.
