Full Sail University Review
Full Sail University is an institution of learning which offers 17 different degree programs
, as near as I can figure out. I say this because getting specific information from them was a very difficult process. First there is their website, which offers phone contacts, live chat, etc so I chose live chat. However, once I started asking questions, I received a reply that informed me that if I wanted specific answers to specific questions, then I would have to call a phone number and talk to someone else. This was discouraging especially since they claim to offer an online degree where all of the training is online. My question is this: if you can't answer my simple questions online right now, how are you going to teach me online when I have complicated questions about the course material?
Still, I am not one to give up easily so I perused the website, looking for particulars on the internet marketing degree. I was still looking for answers which the chat had failed to deliver, like how much is this going to cost me, and how is the course material structured? What I discovered is that the average semester is priced at $8,960, with 6.25 semesters required in order to complete the bachelor of science program in internet marketing. I don't know about your math, but when I total up those figures I get nearly $60,000. WoW! That seems like a lot of money for simply sitting at home watching videos and webinars online.
Also, while on the chat, I asked how long it took to complete the program, but I was given a general answer and nothing specific so I once again went back to the website. From what I could tell, the online bachelor degree program includes 24 courses and each one takes about 4 weeks to complete. So roughly speaking that is 2 years to complete. However, if you wanted to go on to the masters of science degree in internet marketing you would be looking at an additional year at a cost of another $31,000.
So in review, looks like you can learn internet marketing from Full Sail University and walk away with a master of science degree in only 3 years, at a cost of somewhere near $90,000. There are alternatives to Full Sail University, and those alternatives come at a price of around $2000 instead of $90,000. Education is never inexpensive, but it shouldn't require the student to be in debt for the rest of his/her life. This is one author who believes education should be a right, and not something only for the priviileged. I welcome all comments or questions pertaining to this article or the field of internet marketing.
