Disney is one of the most common locations to travel with family. What could be more fun that visiting the land of the mouse during those cooler days of winter? There is always something fun to do in Disney, including visiting one of the four parks. There are many attractions within a few hours of Disney as well, including Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, and more. A perfect vacation can be planned at Disney, from accommodations to activities.

Southern California is a great place to visit during the winter months as well. You can enjoy many different activities in this part of the country, including Legoland, Sea World, Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and more. From beaches to mountains and more, you will have a wide variety of fun or relaxation, whichever you prefer. If you are looking for fun holidays with your family, then you are sure to find it here in California. My family found this to be true on our trip from Benidorm, Spain last winter.

If you want to add a little education into your trip, then a historical trip to the East Coast could be a one of the family holidays that you will want to consider. This is a great trip to go on when you travel with family to learn more about the birth of the United States and you can check out some fun areas well, including Hershey, Pennsylvania, the home of the Hershey plant. Virginia can offer you some historic sites, including George Washington's home, where you can sit on the veranda and watch the sights on the river. Virginia is another state that can offer you a beautiful view of the history of the United States. My family found this to be true on our trip from Benidorm in Spain last winter.

Don't forget Washington, D.C. This is the heart of democracy of our country where you can visit the memorials to past presidents, the Washington Monument, the White House, Arlington Cemetery and more. Don't miss the Smithsonian. It has so many different buildings that you can enjoy. History buffs will enjoy this trip seeing all of those previously unseen sights that are part of history. Family holidays are a great way to include some education with a little fun and it will be a family holiday that will never be forgotten.

Another fun family vacation is a trip to see some of the National Parks and Monuments. Some places that you will not want to miss include Yellowstone, where you can visit Old Faithful and to Arizona to see the Petrified Forest National Park. Visiting the massive Grand Canyon is something that everyone needs to see one time in their life, so you will want to be sure that this park is on your list. Whatever age of children that you have, you are sure to find that they will enjoy these fun holidays with you and will remember them forever.
