Research into garlic have proved that blood pressure levels can be diminished by 10% and that garlic supplements can have a positive impact on the level of cholesterol in your body. This has lead researchers to believe that garlic can lower the risks of heart disease or a heart attack as both high blood pressure and cholesterol can be causing factors. Garlic has also been shown to reduce the calcification of the coronary artery, another indicator that it can lessen the chance of a heart attack.
Fighting infections
Containing such antiseptic and anti-fungal properties, garlic has been used by women to treat yeast infections. In fact, it has been proved that garlic can be an excellent treatment for all types of yeast infections. Furthermore, garlic stimulates our entire immune system which can make it very effective to use for treating respiratory infections too.
