Away from home they did labour somewhat in disposing of Belgium 1-0 with Klose again scoring the goal that matters.

With a great mixture of youth and experience Germany seem to have a team that is going to make a real impact at a competitive tournament, although the World Cup may have just come round too early for them to capitalise. Euro 2012 would be a great stage for them to go all the way and show the world that they are a force to be with reckoned with again and it seems that they just could be the smart bet as our outright Euro 2012 coverage shows.
