Although we've all been through it, it's likely of little comfort to you right now. I suspect you're not looking for sympathy but for answers and solutions. You want to get back together with your ex girlfriend, and I am here to help you with that. Though it's the best advice, it's probably the last thing you want to hear. I realize you want to make sure you keep YOU on her mind, you have to stop contacting her. This means, no calling, no emailing and definitely no texting. Though this seems like the last thing you want to do because you are miserable, but go out and have fun! I am serious. Call your buddies, you know those guys that you neglected when you were half of "we" and check in with them. Go out and eat with them, hang out in a bar, go to a ball game. This serves a few purposes. For one thing you're not obsessing about getting back together with your ex girlfriend. For another you are re-establishing important bonds with your friends and lastly you are showing your ex that you CAN be independent. Word will likely get back to her that you are living your life. I am not in anyway advocating starting a new relationship and I don't believe in game playing. Don't do anything that can be perceived as "trying to make her jealous". For one thing, this NEVER works. It always backfires, but for another, if you weren't a game player in the relationship, don't start now. It's not an attractive quality and why would anyone want to be with someone like that? Besides, if you really care for her and want to get back together with your ex girlfriend, showing her that you're living your life is good, showing her that you can be with any woman is not good. When enough time has passed, contact her. Don't be so quick to talk reconciliation. Let her observe the changes in you first and have her approach the topic not you.About the Author:
