? If you are then you are in luck. Utah resorts and vacation spots are always ready for occupancy, in fact it has shown resiliency in the face of recession. Right now, most of the state's resorts and hotels are experiencing a boom at least in terms of occupancy. And a good number of the occupancies were registered in Salt Lake County. For example, according to one report the Salt Lake County resorts and hotels registered occupancy of nearly 60 percent for the month of April 2010 and this was up from a meager 58 percent for the same time frame last year. If you get to analyze the occupancy rates for the whole state, the occupancy rate stands at 56 percent which is slightly up from last year. This only means one thing--more and more people are going back to Utah or many are planning to enjoy what Utah has to offer.

For this year, the usual vacation and tourist spots in the state of Utah are taking all the attention and these boosted the stock and the occupancy of its resorts. As always, the resorts that managed to be on top or near the top of most visited resorts are the ski resorts and the snowboard resorts. These destinations are always considered as the prime spots for vacations in the state of Utah.

When you speak of Utah resorts for skiing, there are roughly thirteen resorts to choose from. And more than half of these resorts are convenient to tourists since they are just an hour or less away from the Salt Lake City International Airport. These resorts are not just for skiing; there are accommodations near the area as well that can cater to those who love the nightlife and the entertainment associated with it. Plus the good news is that most of these resorts do offer spa services that can truly complete the day of any regular visitor of the state. There may be a number of resorts out there, but do remember that each of these resorts are unique and has something slightly different to offer. So if you are going out to Utah, better ask your friends to join you. The state is not called 'the greatest snow on Earth' for nothing right? For this reason alone, Utah is worth visiting.
