You can put a link in the author's resource box that readers can click on to go to your site. The visitors you pick up from your article are usually the best because they are more targeted towards what you have to offer.
Submitting articles to article directories is free and there are hundreds of these also. Aside from getting lots of free traffic this way, you are also getting back links to your site which again looks good to the search engines.
