Clotrimazole suppositories and creams which can be inserted into the vagina are considered safe and effective than those containing nystatin. Always, always, consult with the doctor. Do not make this a hit or miss activity. Yeast can spread to the fetus and harm it; the medicine used can harm it too. Don't take risky steps simply to avoid going to the doctor.
