Infact, it is better for you not to make any promise at all than for you to make a promise and dont fulfill it.

You should make and fulfill promises so there would not be any reason for your ex to have problems with you over you not fulfilling any promises you made. Therefore, you should promise to do or give something that is within your reach or that you are capable of doing so you can portray a personality as someone who is sincere and honest.

You and your ex are now apart and Im sure now you know that you guys are different people without each other and you both have different outlooks towards the breakup situation. Well the more you try to get close to him, the more you both will remember those hateful things you said or did to each other and this might lead to you both getting in a fights, quarrels or arguments over who was right or wrong. You must avoid this as you cannot afford to get into quarrels and fights over issues that have been put aside and belongs to the past.

Your ex might want to bring up these issues to cause a problem between you guys especially if he is not interested in taking you back. But you on your own part have to resist it with all youve got because when you guys resort to quarreling, you would not be able to achieve your aim and goal of getting him back. Even if some times you guys cannot help it as you get into fights, make sure that you settle it as soon as possible, else there might be a break down in communication thus, making it hard for you to reach out to him. You can really get him back if you can only open up your mind to accept any situation that is happening now, and then using it to your own advantage.
