Now most of us all have a great television and we think we are all good with the
high definition technology, and then the manufacturers come up with a whole different level of amazing for the public. So what can make the HD better? You can throw 3D in the mix and make it even better.
The only drawback to the whole process is that many people just recently moved up to HD for their regular television. That is already a pretty good investment and with HD programming, it can add up. So is it worth it to move up to 3D for your television? It all depends on how much you need the newest and coolest electronics.
Some people have to have the newest gadgets as soon as they hit the market. They are the ones that are waiting in line when the IPad is released at midnight on a Tuesday. They are the ones that trade up on their cell phones every four months when the newer model comes out. They were also the ones that you visited for four years on Sunday afternoon to watch football in high definition before finally biting the bullet and getting your own set-up.
You know even though these consumers are the demographic for the technology they won't be the only people who benefit from people buying it. You will be at their house as soon as they are watching Avatar in 3D, and you will be there next year if Shark Week is broadcast in 3D. This is the point, if you do this then you may be in the market for one of these 3D HDTVs. There are many people who appreciate the 3D technology but aren't very sure about wearing the funny glasses, worried they might be headache inducing or become uncomfortable.
They are sure to be working on 3D technology where you don't have to wear the special glasses, but until that day, I think a lot of people are going to pass on having it in their homes. There have been some breakthroughs lately and Nintendo is releasing a 3D handheld video game console next year that doesn't require special glasses.
