3. Creating a contest or game can create a buzz and interest, and other sites may then mention it on their sites. You need to remember that these websites are also trying to provided valuable content to their readers, so if you create a contest or game that can get peoples attention, there is a good chance people will link back to you.

These are a few simple ways to try and get links back to your site from other established websites related to your. The thing to remember is that it is all about value. If what you are offering is not unique or interesting, then there is really no reason to link back to you.
