Getting Rid Of Anger And Improving Your Relationships
If you think you are the only one who gets angry you may have spent most of your life in a cave
. Just kidding, but the truth the late Psychologist Carl Yung said all of us have a part of our ego which is called the Shadow, which possesses dark thought of anger, revenge, vindication and that sort of stuff. Whether you're rich or poor we all possess these angry feelings to some extent, but the question is how to we get rid of these or at least cope with them so we can be productive members of society? Have you ever thought about writing a journal every time you've had these feelings? I believe our bodies run in cycles. I mean there are times we just feel great and times we feel depressed.
This doesn't make you any kind of an odd ball or anything, it's just part of the human cycle. The best way to cope with these feelings is to write them down when they occur. But don't just write down your bad feelings write your good ones as well. And when you get angry or depressed refer to your previous notes. You should also write down how you handled specific situations so you can evaluate how to handle them better next time. If you have to deal with someone you don't like, sometimes it's just best to smile and walk away than to throw a tantrum and either get in trouble or tarnish your reputation.
When I was younger I was angry about a lot of things. I had people tell me that holding in anger would hurt myself eventually. So instead of being jealous and angry at people who were doing better than me I started setting goals and taking steps to become the full person I wanted to be. I've always liked the idea of helping people so I started going to school for psychology after I left the military. A successful Internet Business and a disability got in the way which stalled my college efforts for 15 years, but now I'm finally focusing on finishing school. And to be honest when I was going to school 15 years ago, I was much younger than all my professors.
However being 41 going back the last 3 professors I've had were all quite a bit younger than me. Luckily I'm able to cope with this and not let it bother me because this is my secondary skill and none of them are even close to my level of internet marketing knowledge. So in life take the good with the bad. Set goals and use your anger in a positive way like studying for a tough exam. Why waste your energy being angry when the only person it will hurt in the end is you. Instead turn your anger into bravery, accomplish something great like a college degree, then get into the system and start helping other people achieve success. I believe that's the true way for you to obtain success yourself is by helping others achieve it first.
