There are many ways to get rid of acne. However, many people who suffer the symptoms of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads don't know that there are a few simple cures.

The first thing you can try to do, is build on the effectiveness of washing the infected pimples. Instead of just splashing some water over them, I recommend that you steam your face with a hot flannel. To do this, you should start by boiling a kettle. Then get a flannel and pour some of the hot water on to it. Then make sure you leave it to cool a little (so it doesn't burn your face) and then apply it to your face.

Sometimes, all that is actually causing the spots on a persons face, is that they have quite oily skin. This is often very natural for many people, however, it traps bacteria under the oil which can result in acne. So if this is something which you think you might have, then you should use lemon and hazel juice as a way of getting rid of that.

Something else that you may want to try, is mixing just a little bit of baking soda with some distilled water and massaging this onto your face. This has been known to help remove acne and the scars that are often left behind. However, the results from this kind of treatment are different for different people, and whilst some report that it has had dramatic effects, others state that it did nothing at all. But you may as well give it a go anyway because it's such an easy one to implement.

If you find that the home remedies don't work to cure your acne, you may consider using a manufactured solution. There are many different medications available, but from my research it looks as if Proactiv, Accutane, and Retin-A are the ones that are working with the most success.

I am quite certain that you now have enough information to get rid of your acne for good. Just make sure that even once you remove your pimples, you continue to wash your face and keep your pours flushed out so that they don't come back.
