Interval training isn't complicated, or hard to do. You don't need to research it for hours either. Hop on a treadmill or an exercise bike and sprint as fast as you can for 15 seconds, the next 30 seconds you can ride or jog at normal pace. After 30 seconds has elapsed, sprint or ride as fast as you can for another 15 seconds. You must do it over a 15 minutes period, continually. This gives your metabolic rate a huge boost for the next 24 hours. If you were just to jog on the treadmill you burn calories only while you are jogging, when you stop so does the calorie burning. However, with interval training the next 24 hours you are burning more calories. That is a big difference when you are on the quest for successfully losing lower belly fat.
