Getting Work Done - Follow These Tips To Get All Your Work Done Quickly
In today's busy world we often feel tired and worn out at the end of the day
. We want to make time for exercising but how?
Research shows that just 20 minutes of exercise a day improves our health and well-being. Who does not want to feel better, be more fit and enjoy the sense of self accomplishment that exercising provides?
Since most of our time is spent at work this is the most logical place to begin finding simple ways to get that much needed work out in. However, most of us would assume that we do not have adequate time or resources to work out during the work day.
It is time to re-evaluate your thinking and get creative. It is a lot easier than you may think and the benefits to you are very real.
Do Your Homework
* Locate gym's near your work place * Find a park close by * Investigate neighborhoods with sidewalks close to work * Does your building have stairs
This helps you begin to find "natural" resources close to work that you can use to get a work out in. You may have the money to join a gym or YMCA close to work so consider this an investment in your self.
If you are short on cash then the other options might appeal to you more. Either way, remember all you need is 20 minutes to get a quality work out in each day.
Plan Ahead
* Take two, three or five pound dumbbells to work and keep them in a drawer * Get a gym bag. It does not have to be expensive, check out a thrift store * Pack your bag with essentials like work out clothes, baby wipes and deodorant * Make sure you have a quick and easy lunch, say a protein shake and a banana
Getting Started
* If you are going to a gym you will need to be able to get to there, change clothes, work out and get cleaned up and back to work within your allotted lunch break time. * Commit to two or three days a week at first and stick to it * If you are not going to a gym, the same rules apply, make sure you use your time wisely * Find time to use those dumbbells at work. You can do arm curls at your desk or take them with you on your walk or run to an extra "pump" from your work out
Stick with your new routine of two to three days a week until it has become a habit. Once established you can add more days as your time allows.
You have now taken control of not only your physical health, you have also begun to manage daily stress and that is definitely something to be proud of!
