Even though it is a huge effort, do it - get yourself looking great again, call up your friends and tell them that you are ready to face the world again, and then go out and enjoy yourself. Do this as often as possible and you will be feeling like your old self again very soon.
Your spirits will be lifted, you will be out of that state of misery that you were in, and will look at life with a whole new perspective. Also, because of your enthusiasm, it will show on you - you will be positively radiant - game for anything that gets thrown your way!
Your ex will get to hear about your transformation - how great you look, and what a fantastic person you are, even better than before. This is positive news to your ex, news that will be attractive to him/her, and will probably make your ex want you back again.
