I Have never been a fan of the car air freshenes, most scents are to strong while others seem to only work for a few days. I love my new car smell but after 2 years its only a distant memory now. I recently heard from a friend about the Glade oil car air fresheners. This product is similar to the Glade products that use little bottles of scented oil and plug into an electrical outlet, except these are smaller, and clip right onto the car vents. This seemed like a great idea to me. I have tried other air fresheners and they never seem to spread evenly throughoht the vehicle. The glade design actually allows the air freshener to circulate through the car. The plastic holder is only about 3" so it doesn't stand out in any size of car. It clips right onto the vents on your dash. You can adjust the fragrance to three different levels, low - medium - high. I would recomend staying away from the high setting because it is extremely overwhelming.
I purchased the outdoor fresh scent and used it in a dodge Dakota and I must say if you are a fan of delicate scents it is not for you. It can be overpowering to start but after three days i could barely smell it. Glade says that one bottle of scented oil will last up to a month, depending of course on how often you use your cars heater vents (or air conditioner vents, which ever the case may be).It smelled great throughout the vehicles and the scent was spread evenly.
I would definitely recommend this product as it is a great way to freshen the smell in your vehicle. The fact that the glade car air freshener uses your air vents is great as it allows for a much greater and efficient transfer of the scent throughout he car. I purchased my glade air fresheners with a coupon from Glade and i suggest you do the same. the units are a little pricey but if you find the right coupons you can get a great deal. I got a 4.50 coupon and basically got the unit for free.
