Go Green With Combi Boilers

The exhaustible sources of energy are getting depleted at a very fast rate

. Days are not far when will be left with no available source of energy. This is due to careless consumption of resources by humans. If energy resources are not used wisely, the prices will touch sky and it will be costlier to drive a car than to earn a living for family of ten persons.

By switching to renewable or inexhaustible sources of energy we can not only save energy resources, but we can also save money. A step towards energy savings needs to be taken by every individual at a small scale from day to day habits. Steps like fitting thermostatic radiator valves, using energy saver bulbs and lights, insulating buildings and adding solar panels can contribute greatly to this mission.

One of the mostly used appliances in UK is Boilers. Traditional boilers emit carbon-di-oxide as a by product, and a handsome amount of energy is wasted in keeping the stored water hot for a longer time. Combination Boilers also known as Combi Boilers have overcome these drawbacks of Boilers.

Originally, the boiler system required a boiler to heat the water which was partially sent to the central heating system and partially to fill the hot water tank large enough to provide a continuous hot water supply. Additionally there was a cold water storage tank from which water is taken when the stored heated water exhausts. This whole system required a large storage space. Moreover the stored heated water was replaced instantly because it loses heat gradually if unused.

These boilers were then replace with advanced Combi Boilers, where the heat that would have been wasted is condensed and used again to make energy savings. In Combi Boilers, the 3 separate parts: cold storage tank, boiler and the hot water storage tank are combined in one system and hence the name was coined Combination Boiler. This has become the best selling boiler in UK. The main reason behind it is that it does not require the space or cost of hot and cold water storage tanks and associated piping. And it comes in almost same cost as that of regular boiler.

Combi Boiler does the same thing in regular boiler. But it draws water to be heated directly from the mains, and the hot water is supplied on demand.

Condensing boilers produce upto 30% less Carbon Dioxide than conventional boilers and can even cut heating bills by up to 40%. If you are still used those conventional boilers it is high time. Switch over new advanced energy efficient Combi Boilers and save money as well as environment. Time to go green and think green.
