It dissolves slowly and evenly in a spa feeder and serves as a sanitizer. The company encourages its customers to recycle after use whenever possible.

Spa Frog

The Spa Frog In-Line System is a floating cartridge system that prolongs the amount of time between additions of chemicals. Pre-filled mineral cartridges are snapped into the product, which floats unattended. Hot tubs that use the Spa Frog use 50 to 80% less bromine. When the minerals are empty, the device is pulled out, the cartridges are replaced and the mechanism is put back into the water. This is environmentally-friendly by its reduction in chemicals and its limitation of which parts must be replaced each time. The outer canister remains intact, while the inner cartridges are the only parts that must be replaced each time.
