Good Guys Cheating - The Truth Behind It

You love your husband and have always believed him to be one of the best men around

. Despite that fact you do know that he has flaws (whether he'd ever dare admit them to himself or anyone else or not). You love him in spite of those flaws. Now though, you've just discovered a flaw that might test the limits of your love. What are you going to do about your cheating husband?

Understand the Bad Boy in Good Men

Those angelic men have a bit of bad boy in them as well. Some men hide it better than the others. You'll never realize but it's there, just waiting to be unleashed. The only difference is that the manifestations of these bad boy images are done in many different ways. Some will be in sports (trying those extreme sports); others would portray a rebel image, while others would display aggressiveness in business. All have their own ways in expressing these bad boy images in them.

And you know the truth is? Most women love this in their men. I think in most parts of it. But there are also some traits that make it deadly to most marriages. It's going to be you who will decide whether you are strong enough to handle the situation wherein you will find out you've been cheated.

Draw Your Line in the Sand

Forgiving is one thing. Tolerating the cheating act is another. You have to make him understood that cheating will not be tolerated in the future. If you want to forgive him and save the marriage after the cheating issue, you must be clear to him that this will be the first and last time that he will escape the gallows of your wrath. Make him realize you're serious about this.

There are so many ways to do this, you can ask him to write it down like "I will never cheat again" or anything that you think would be a good way to make it clear to him. Make it firm, loud and clear and serious that this is his only last chance.

Your choices

You love the good man you married. There is no denying that. You might not like the inner bad boy (or you might even like some things about that inner bad boy and not others) but he is a part of the good man you're married to. You have to find some common ground, set a few ground rules, and make a life you can both be happy with.

On the contrary...

You can just walk away and leave. If you don't love the man, this will be easy. But if you still feel that you still love him admit it, feel no shame on it. You have to live with it, you decide.
