Good News About A Good Project

Needless to say, many people are fed up of what TV news has to offer bad news

, politics, and some more bad news. The sad thing is, it is not always the TV networks fault since they only feed us what they get sinkholes, oil-spill, hole in ozone, terrorists, suicide bombs, child abuse, riots, et cetera.

But when suddenly, town leaders appear in your TV to talk about a project that aims to restore the river and bring it back to its natural state, and you were convinced that its true, it is a breathe of fragrant fresh air, especially when ducks floating on the river flashes on the screen while someone was talking. The city of Ogden, Weber County, Utah is now in a process of restoring its river while developing a commercial area around it.

This project is really massive in terms of both cleaning the river and putting up a new commercial area. Basically, The Ogden River Restoration Project is poising Ogden River to become the new downtown attraction. The project is said to generate a wave of fortune and profit throughout Ogdens community.

Gadi Leshem, a Chatsworth, L.A. resident is heading this project. Leshem is also the President and Chief Executive of a carpet installation company. He claimed to have loved Ogden so much that he was buying real estates in there.

This project of Gadi Leshem is so massive that they had to divide the project into three phases. Phase I will be dedicated to 465 residential units. Phase II will be dedicated to retail businesses. Finally, phase III will be allotted to businesses, and amusement parks. The third phase will provide the Ogden community with managerial jobs, while phase II will be a chance for Ogden residents to put up boutiques. Everything from the residential to phase III will be linked by a path the Ogden River Parkway.

Though having a commercial and residential area sitting beside the river bank is daunting because of the worse negative effects it might cause, it might actually be the cure to a damaged ecosystem. More people living around the river will then provide the latter with much care and attention it never had. With the help of Gadi Leshem, and his crew, Ogden River will be transformed in to a park, a beautiful scenery so natural that people would love and care for.
