Google Algorithm Changed to Stop Link Farming

The latest update of Google algorithm against "Shallow" or "low quality" content is changed drastically and this is affecting approximate 12% of US results. Previously the changes what Google made are so subtle that no one notice that. But these big changes will affect lots of ranking. If we check the Google changes then:

In 2007: Google filtered completely the forum profiles and no forum profiles get rank in SERP.

In 2009: Google lowered the impact of forum signature

In 2010: to stop link juice Google filtered blog

In addition, in 2011 (Anti Farmer): may be the giant company will filter out the content farms and will lower the impact of links from those sites. This way the article sites and directory sites impact will be much lesser.

The algorithm updating from Google already implemented in US and in near future across globe. This is really the high time for all the countries to understand the changes that are made by Google and take action as per that. I like to share my views about this changes made by Google and how we can prevent ourselves from this effect. As per my opinion, the follow precautions are requiring to deal with this:

Talk to your SEO Company - If you are taking help for SEO promotion from various companies and if they still not inform you about this update I will recommend you to rethink about there approach. Talk to them and share the above mentioned facts.

Check the back link created for your site - carefully check the back links, which are created for your site, are from link firming sites or those sites which are already get banned. If you find those then immediately take action and remove your links from those sites.

Content is King - Did you check the quality of the content that your seo company produce for the off page activity. Please recheck those and if the quality of those contents are poor and just used for back link creation it will going to hurt your site. Make sure all the content used for your site is unique and providing value for your site.

How you process your article Marketing? - Check, with your seo team, one article how many times they published, does the team publish the same article for several times in same IP. Make sure your team should have implemented "content spinning" technology and act according to that.

Think from user point of view - If you are a user and landed in your site what the value you should expect and what you are getting compare from those aspects and implement those.

Make sure the conversion optimization and brand optimization aspects - analyze the site performance, bounce rate, conversion rate, return traffic etc so that the user experience becomes much more professional and effective.

I will advice you to hire a professional or company who can cross check the work, which I mentioned above, and make the proper strategy to overcome the algorithm changes. Keep in mind SEO is an effective process if one can make sure in ethical and logical way else it will be nothing but wastage of money and time.
