Google Earth And Beyond

When we think about Google Earth, we automatically know it as an application software

that displays virtual images of the earth, including countries, landmarks, tourists destinations and so much more. Google Earth is definitely a much better version of the old and tattered maps and globes as it lets us explore with far less limitations.

Released on August 27, 2007, Google Sky has been the online "virtual telescope." Specifically, Google Sky "is an online sky and outer space viewer made possible in partnership with the Hubble Telescope." Users can take a peek into the fascinating realm of outer space including the stars, planets, constellations etc. This added feature provides amazing space images as well as important facts about the subject with a click of a button

For some people who do not have the luxury of buying an expensive telescope, Google Sky delivers an amazing view of the captivating bodies of outer space such as the stars, planets and constellations. It can also provide information about a certain heavenly body like its physical attributes, location, classification and other characteristics just by simply highlighting the desired subject. Google Sky also takes users to a wonderful experience of travelling outer space through two tour packages: Life of a Star - shows a lifespan of star, from its birth to its death and User's Guide to the Galaxy - similar to an excursion of all the famous galaxies known to man. Aside from these, Google Sky also offers the Moon in Motion feature which tracks the path of motion of the moon as well as Planets in Motion which basically shows the activities of the planets.
