The answer for this is government job is a job that may come under government sector or a public sector of a nation. All the privileges, pay scales and relaxations will be given as stated by the government proforma. In the point of reservation system the rules will be as stated by the amendment of constitution.

You may be in a dilemma by seeing the words government sector and public sector. Government sector is nothing but which are ruled, take care and following the rules of the government for example UPPSC, SSC etc. Public sector is nothing but following the rules of government but ruled by a Board of directors. In public sector both public and government will have shares for example BHEL, IOCL etc.

I have already mentioned that security is the first reason for preferring a government job. Let me prove this with an example. In private companies, the impact of loss will be directly faced by the working employees by losing their jobs. Coming to government job no bother about loss or gain, you will receive your pay and this will not even show any effect on your job.
