Grants-in-Aid are usually provided by the national government to a regional government in order to support public service projects. Innovation of the research or the project. The applicant should provide the evidence that his/her research is new and original. Moreover, the applicants should demonstrate that the project will be used to improve public services. He/she should also demonstrate new concepts, approaches and methods used in the work.

The applicant should also prove the significance of the work. The project should address some important problem related to a certain field. One should demonstrate how this field of science could benefit from his/her work if the aim is achieved.

In addition to the grant proposal, the applicant should present the adequately developed and well-reasoned scientific approaches of the research work.

The information about the investigator should contain his/her education, precious projects and experience in the area of the research.
