Greece-the cradle of civilization- is currently facing a major economic crisis. As an effect, thousands of people in Greece have lost their jobs, and cannot support their families or to pay for their home or automobile mortgages. Jobless & homeless people, trying to survive against the prevailing forces of severe economic conditions and poverty. The country is on the verge of collapse. One of the many side effects of every economic crisis, is that is always closely associated with an increase in crime rates. Statistical data seem to agree with that assertion: we had a 28% crime rate increase for 2010, meaning 91.172 burglars. In simple terms, try to imagine a flat rate of 254 houses been attacked every day. Thus, acquiring security for our house and our family seems to be the number #1 priority these days. People seek to protect their home and loved ones, against any malicious attack.
