, the Japanese big name in car making exhibited the new version of its saloon Maruti SX4 for the very first time. The sedan has been in a revamp for some time and now it appears to look better. Though the company did not mention that they have made changes in the engine, it is definitely clear that the new look gives it a jazzier feel. The glimpse of the new Maruti SX4 is described as something that will leave any car enthusiast spellbound.

Maruti SX4s cosmetic changes include the following: new headlamps along with dark background, all new front and rear bumpers and also there are new fog lights. One could see that the front of the car, the chrome has been rightly placed on the new grille thus giving it a spice of sporty looks. The sedan will be coming with smart key option and it is also going to have a built in music player with SD-card option on ones desire. The Volkswagen Company has invested in Suzuki which leads to assuring the car buyers of the cars engine and specs. If the speculations are to be weighed in, the new sedan is a diesel version which is going to be launched early this year.

Looking at the Indian arm of Suzuki- Maruti- it has started feeling the pressure despite doing well in the Indian car market especially in the last two months by which it was able to sell more than 1 lakh cars and has captured a major share in the car industry. Maruti has its dominance in the small car segment but with various car makers that are also making an entrance in the new technology in the small car segment, Maruti is undeniably facing a tough competition. Maruti has winning products and it is enjoying its dominance with cars such as Maruti Alto, Maruti Swift, Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Ritz and Maruti Zen Estilo. The new competition in the auto sector is Chevrolet Beat, Volkswagen Polo and Ford Figo that have gained their respective places in the Indian car market. On April, Toyota will release its Liva and Honda Brio will be coming as well. It is going to be interesting what the next year has in store for the Indian car market.
