Gulf Oil Spill and the Future of Your Health

Gulf Oil Spill and the Future of Your Health

15,000 gallons of toxic chemicals areDAILY being dumped into the Gulf in an effort to "disperse" the oil! Just a month ago the Environmental Protection Agency ordered BP to stop spraying so much dispersant into the Gulf waters. But BP is STILL spraying the same stuff - under the brand name COREXIT. At this point in the disaster approximately 1.46 MILLION gallons of COREXIT have been applied to the gushing oil. What's really scary is that they have dumped about 493,000 gallons BELOW THE SURFACE. This is the first time ever that this chemical was used so deeply under water.

The impact this will have on our personal future health and even the planet itself cannot be totally understood. Certainly the oil by itself is toxic... adding in chemical dispersants just adds to the toxicity.

So what is COREXIT? Corexit is 2-butoxyethanol, a substance that is banned in other countries because of its hazard to humans and wildlife! It literally kills marine and wetland wild life and causes serious lung problems in humans. It's banned in other countries... it's NEVER been used to this extint on this planet... so if you read reports elsewhere that suggest it's ok because the EPA (our illustrious government) deems it safe... be assured it's NOT.

I'm most concerned for those of us living in the South along the Gulf. When toxic chemicals are thrown into the mix of life... only illness will result. Our land, marine life, our bodies, our food sources... are all eventually going to be impacted by this. Certainly as the years progress it will spread farther throughout our planet. In the immediate future I'm looking at those of us along the Gulf Coast. As hurricane season moves forward I know that the spread of the toxicity problem will only increase as the winds and force push the toxins further inland and possibly make them airborne.

So what do you do?

My strong suggestion is to ensure that your immune system is in great shape. You're going to need to support your liver and help your body to detox on a daily basis for quite some time...

Charcoal tablets; plenty of magnesium; liver detox supplements such as milk thistle and Alpha lipoic acid, are vital; glutathione is excellent and lots of chlorella and fruits and veggies are essential to do on a daily basis to remove the toxins from your body.

A great start in educating yourself on natural solutions for your health would be to get educated about your body and how it works so that you are empowered to take care of it naturally without additional chemicals and drugs.
