In the gypsum powder production plant, gypsum crushing and grinding mill are used for powder manufacturing.

Gypsum is a particularly useful processed material. Its main application is as a building material, mostly produced as so-called plaster of Paris for plastering walls and making decorative features in buildings. However gypsum also has a diversity of other uses including making writing chalk, soil conditioning for agriculture, making moulds for pottery, as an additive in the manufacture of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), in surgical splints, in increasing the hardness of water, as an additive in certain foods such as tofu and in some types of medicines and pharmaceuticals.

Gypsum crushing plant

When gypsum rocks are mined from large gypsum quarry, primary crusher starts the primary crushing processing to crush large rock blocks into smaller one. In this process, gypsum jaw crusher, gypsum impact crusher are often chosen to complete this process. Then the secondary crushing processing is optional if you want to crush gypsum smaller than a bit. For deep crushing instead of primary grinding processing, cone crusher especially hydraulic cone crusher and CS cone crusher are suitable for producing that particle.

The gypsum powder Production Line includes four process flow: crushing, grinding, calcine, storing and feeding.

By using loader to feed the gypsum rock to the raw material storage bin. And then it will be transferred to the crusher to be crushed. Gypsum rocks is crushed into particles less than 30 mm by gypsum crusher, Then gypsum particles is feeded into raymond mill for grinding into partical size by electromagnetic feeder. The gypsum powder that meet the requirement of size is transported into fluidized bed furnace for burning.
