Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Group of Management Institutes organized this event REFLECTION-Igniting HR potential for Potential & Self purification at Tata Institute of Social Sciences that managed to capture the hearts of around 500 management students, 50 management faculties, more than 50 HR managers and professionals and also 20 media personnel. The management institutes are as follows:

The event was regarding the HR panel discussion and Academic-Industry Collaboration Meet. It was a collective effort of all directors of Management institutes.The session kicked off with a mesmerizing AV presentation on the World of Tasgaonkar Institutes. It was a treat for the viewers, worth watching and was the center of attraction. It was something that left a long-lasting impression in their hearts.
The first panel discussion was all about Enhancing ROI on Human Capital through Innovative Strategies'. The panel included

Research indicates that many people are now seeking new career opportunities after coping with their current employer during the economic breakdown. Engagement and retention are once again the key factors, so care must be taken that the organization continues to attract and retain the best talent.
Starting off the session Mr. Apurv provided incepts regarding Acquisition, Human Capital and Knowledge & Collaboration
Mr. Avadhoot gave a glimpse about his company Emerson with a PPT and briefly presented on the HR strategies with respect to employee retention and performance.
Another PPT by Mr. Rajiv Sahi focused on Reward Strategy. He elaborated on What people want in life'& what people want from job'. The former has 4 phases-

The IIM-A graduate said that this would ensure guarantee joy and happiness.
Delivering an effective PPT, Mr. Milind emphasized on whether HR should be equated with the Capital, to which he continued that Innovation was the key factor to engage in activities, reward strategies and career customization. There are 4 phases in reward strategy-

Ms. Ashwati was a true inspirer. Starting off with her journey in IPS career, she discussed on the responsibilities carried on her shoulder."Study the person whom you are working with" was her mantra. The former District Head of Gadchiroli Dist, recollected on how difficult it was to control the naxal affected area. Boosting the morale of her subordinates, rewarding them or simply just a pat on their back and not rebuking them in public are some of the key points for improving performance. Being an extrovert and living up to people's expectation matters a lot.
According to Mr. Rajiv, life is based on 80:20. The heavier side prescribes having a good life without much difficulty while the lighter side is full of risks and challenges. Continuing further he said that there are 3 skills essential for an HR person-

The panel discussion on Indian know-how of Spiritual Quotient (SQ)-Performance to Self Purification' created a feeling of trance from corporate to spirituality.
Moving ahead from Intelligence Quotient (IQ) to Emotional Quotient (EQ )towards Spiritual Quotient (SQ) is gaining more importance for sustainable growth. Spirituality at workplace is becoming ever increasing need for every organization as a sure strategy for employee satisfaction and retention.
Mr. Ventateshwarlu covered several aspects on spiritual goals, meditation and yoga.
Joining hands with him, Mr. Satyavageeshvaran conveyed about spirituality through incepts from the Bhagwad Gita. "People must be Goal oriented and not self-oriented. Spirituality is all about controlling mind and thought, to find the meaning of life and understand the difference between want and need."he said.
Mr. Dineshbhai's motivational speech earned him a standing ovation by the audience. He said "You can be the one for nation's development and don't ever get corrupted". He concluded his speech with a motivational story on how temporary circumstance can affect one's performance and to overcome the same.
Mr. Apurva, an IIM-A pass out, stubbornly said that it is only the truth that reigns and nothing else. Spirituality, according to him is harmony, being balanced n also being kind to those in need.
Ms. Shruti emphasized on how more and more people are involved in Reiki, Pranic Healing, The Art of Living and how to attain the professional targets that include knowledge, Skills and Attitude.
Mr. Uday talked about our holy soul is impure and how it can be purified using great ethics like the Vedas, Upanishads and the Gita.
"Change is the only constant" said Mr. Pillai. And further added how yoga is beneficial. He also highlighted on terms like Yama'- personal values , Niyama'- discipline routine and Swadharma-purpose in life that needs to be identified.
A simple yet motivating speech by Dr. Nandkumar Tasgaonkar , Chairman, Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Group of Institutes was a treat to listen. The students lit the auditorium with full vigor and enthusiasm. He briefed on 3 aspects namely Attitude, money and religion. He shared his belie f" Earn money but don't love them or run behind it and enjoy giving it to others".
The third session was exclusively for the HR managers, Emotional Intelligence. It was an Academic-Industry Collaboration Meet. A marvelous yet effective presentation was delivered by Dr. Vipul Vyas, Director, Faculty of Management on Management Development Program (MDP). This was followed by a role play perform by MMS students. Mr. Vishal Kumar, Head-Corporate Affairs went on to brief about CCD-Center for career development.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks were provided. The anchors and volunteers job was commendable. The event was a huge success. The panel was notably impressive. There was tremendous amount of energy emitted by the students. Truly, it was our future manager's day.
