The HTC Desire S is a phone that will be bringing forward their best of the technology from the HTC Desire and it will be doing so in order to provide some competition to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Ace that have been recently launched by Samsung. The fact that this phone will be having a number of features carried over from the HTC Desire makes this slightly concerning to the buyer, but it will be more than satisfactory once you start using the phone because even though the features have been carried over from the predecessor, they have been modified or will be using the latest version. Hence, you will definitely not be having any feeling about using the old HTC Desire, which is often the case with many of the replacement models from other manufacturers.

The HTC Desire S will be coming with the same 3.7 inch touch screen display. In fact, the design of the phone also remains the same. HTC has obviously decided not to tinker with the design that is already regarded as one of the best. The HTC Desire S will be coming with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution in the screen and it will be using the Super LCD capacitive technology to bring you the best in terms of the images. Also, it will be having touch sensitive controls like in the previous version, but they have been modified with a bit more quality. The HTC Desire S will be using the user interface that is the HTC Sense 3.0, which is often thought of as the best user interface.

The HTC Desire S will be coming with a five megapixel sensor that is going to be using the inbuilt flash and Geotagging option. There is also the 720 p HD video recording option, image stabilisation, touch focus and other options present in this camera. Given the fact that it will be using the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, it is expected to get a camera interface that is extremely simple to use. It will definitely not be cumbersome, which is so often the case even with the best of the cameras. The HTC Desire S will be using a strong memory card slots in order to provide space for the memories that have been captured using the five megapixel camera. The five megapixel camera, however, is not the only camera in the HTC Desire S because it will also be having an additional VGA camera in the front of the phone.

The HTC Desire S will be coming with the DLNA option, 3G option and the Wi-Fi option in order to provide excellent connectivity to the outside world through the wireless mode itself. It is not often that you find such a diverse amount of connectivity options within one phone. The HTC Desire S will be available in the UK for around 400 in the pre-order market and it is going to be available within the March end.
