The hair on the front, vertex and back crown areas are all sensitive to male hormone
Testosterone and these hair have receptors to which this Testosterone hormone attaches and cause hair loss and this is called Male Pattern Baldness. The hair at the back above the nape of the neck and over the Temporal areas donot have receptors for Testosterone hormone and so are resistant to the effects of Testosterone and so we donot have baldness in these areas however old we may become.
