Hal Aerospace Museum- Take An Unforgettable Flight Through

India's very first museum dedicated entirely to aerospace

, the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, also known as HAL is located in Bangalore. Opened in 2001, it captures the 5 decade long history of Indian aviation and is maintained by HAL, a company that is among the key players in aviation and one of Asia's largest aerospace companies.

Opened to the public from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, ticket charges are at a very nominal rate. Hall number 1 in the museum is a walk back in time. Each room HAL's as well as the Indian aviation's achievements since the 1940s. Bangalore functioned as a service and repair point during World War II and so many historical photographs as well as stamps that show work being done on aircraft belonging to the Allied Forces as well as models of these aircrafts and spare vehicles can be witnessed here.

Helicopters such as the Chetak, Cheetah and ALH as well as the Dove all wait in full glory in the halls.
