It is a perfect combination of an optical power meter module and an optical light source module, yet the device remains compact and light weight. The multimeter implements loop-around tests by using both modules. Each of the modules can also function independently and switching between the modules is accomplished easily via menu selection. It can be built or tailored according to different requirements. This optical multi-meter, model A0670017, provides a stabilized light source of dual-wavelength laser diode, with one port output.It supports a measurement range from -60 to 10dBm or -50 to 26dBm with a resolution of 0.01dB. Calibrated wavelengths are 850nm,1300nm, 1310nm,1490nm and 1550nm. The intelligent multi-meter offers an auto-off function that it will turn off automatically within ten minutes of inactivity. This complementary combination of these modules make the testing of fiber optics networks more convenient as only one test instrument is required.
