Handset Manufacturers Made The Most Spotlights At Mwc

, Barcelona made a record-breaking achievement. The ground was flooded with around 70,000 visitors from all across the world. It's not a big surprise that the handset manufacturers have once again got the spotlight at MWC. With the record breaking number and enthusiastic responses of visitors the, the handset manufacturing industry is very much overwhelmed.

In the previous years, GSMAs keynote speeches could not receive the same response which the handset manufacturers have done this time. In fact, the interest was noticeable; the way the whole event preceded was itself a great achievement for the handset manufacturing industry. It was a very different trend of presentation and launch of the latest handset portfolio. Altogether, around 55 amazing handsets with latest designs and features were unveiled at the MWC event. Actually to say, the Mobile World Congress began and ended even since all the hosting brands like Sony, HTC, LG, Huawei, Nokia, Samsung and some other made their own venue outside the Firas ground the night before the gates were opened.

All the handset manufacturers took up their own strategies to get the spotlight like Samsung announced its line-up before the pubs called for the last orders to be ensured to be in the technology headlines for at least one day; HTC, LG and Huawei emphasized on the speed and the emergence of quad-core processors. Huawei, however making its first appearance in the Mobile World Congress as a handset manufacturer under its own branding caught the visitors' eyes with its new Android powered Ascend D quad as the fastest Smartphone in the world.

Huwaei, well-recognised for manufacturing budgeted handsets, looked keen to prove itself for the high-end handsets for both in build and features here in the UKs market. And it is also believed that they certainly achieved it up to some extent. Chinese ZTEs, with its Era quad-core processor and 70,000 people wearing lanyards sponsorship to ensure who visited them is considered to be a unique strategy to lead in the race was very impressive. A player with a record spanning about 20 years in the UK market, Alcatel One Touch and the newcomer mobile Acer, focused more on the lower end of the market and provided interesting lineups. Although, last year Nokia, HTC, Sony and LG were not very impressive, but this year they also looked reasserting themselves in the Mobile World Congress 2012 event.
