Helpful Tips For Losing Weight And Keeping It Off
Losing weight is one thing while retaining it is another totally different issue all together
. That's the reason why I'm not such a keen supporter of those fat burning soups and creams and those diets that make your food taste like crap. I don't believe in a boring diet just because it's a healthy one. The reason why I don't support the use of those miracle working fast weight loss products, is that the same way you lose that fat, is the same way it will all come back; fast. Altering your lifestyle for 3 months and then going back to you're same old habits is what these teas and soups and creams don't address. There is a reason as to why you have weight issues to begin with and losing the weight doesn't necessarily mean that you're weight problems are over. Let me use this illustration.
Suppose you wake up one morning and decide that it's about time you lost the weight. Then you go on a weight loss diet that surgeons put their patients on so that they can burn down some fat before a major surgery. You go on the diet for a couple of weeks and sure enough, you burn a lot of fat and get to the weight you wanted. What then? You go back to your old self and continue being McDonald's customer of the month and the only place where you won't be spotted s in the gym and in the vegetable isle of your grocery store. A few weeks later, you're back to Google in search for the next fasts way to lose weight only for this vicious cycle to continue over and over.
Use a method that you will stick with. If you simply won't stick to that unhealthy fat burning soup, then don't get on it to begin with. Save yourself the horror of eating that stuff that tastes like goo! Weight is affected by your lifestyle in terms of your eating habits as well as your exercising habits, or lack thereof. Know the foods that you have o kick off the carb such as those chocolate chip cookies and the 5 tabs of ice cream in your fridge. If half you're fridge is stacked with cans of beer and carbonated drinks, I'm sorry but they have to go.
The next time you go for grocery shopping, don't pick what you know you'll definitely not eat. Just pick the chicken, fish, and beef that you're used to eating. The only thing that you need to do differently is reduce the amount o at that you use when cooking and also reduce the portion of food you eat. As for your physical activities, joining a gym is like taking 100 steps in the right direction. What you can do however even before you get a good gym is cardio. The only thing you require is the alarm to go off half an hour earlier in the morning so that you can do at least 20 minute of cardio.
