Hemorrhoids can be both internal and external. Each can be treated in different manners. Hemorrhoids attack the anal and lower rectal areas of our bodies.
What are internal hemorrhoids?
Internal hemorrhoids basically consist of tissue called anal cushions. Excessive pressure causes this tissue to swell and stretch, thus forming hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are mostly painless and have bleeding with bowel movements. Internal hemorrhoids can also produce mucus that will keep the area moist and cause the anus to itch. Internal hemorrhoids found inside the rectum are not painful and many may not know that they have them. However due to irritation or hard pressure like in constipated condition these veins may cause bleeding that is seen on the stool, toilet bowl or toilet paper.
What are external hemorrhoids?
External hemorrhoids are fleshy lumps around the rectum. They occur as a result of anal pressure which dilates the rectal veins. External hemorrhoids are another story totally. They frequently cause burning and itching sensations and can be painful enough to distract you throughout the day. External hemorrhoids are better to identify those internal hemorrhoids as the bulge can be clearly seen around the anus. Left unattended, the blood in the external hemorrhoids will clot and harden (a condition known as thromboses external hemorrhoids).
What about bleeding?
Bleeding may occur with internal or external hemorrhoids. Bleeding from hemorrhoids sometimes aggravates during constipation, especially while passing stool that was very hard or very large. Lightly stained water inside the toilet bowl often indicates that blood has passed with stool.
What should I do?
Avoid rubbing with toilet paper. This aggravates the hemorrhoids. Avoid scratching the affected area. Use only unscented, non-colored toilet paper that has been moistened beforehand to wipe your behind after you have defecated.
Suffering from hemorrhoids is not needed. You don't need to continue to suffer from hemorrhoids anymore. Suffering from hemorrhoids should not be tolerated. And you should not be made to believe than there is no cure for this type of condition. Don't suffer anymore. Simply implement a hemorrhoids home cure and get rid of your problem.
