High Frequency Rfid M1 Mini Reader Module
Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has rolled out its 13.56 MHz
RFID M1 Mini Reader Module , designed to enable any device with RFID reader technology. It can be easily integrated into medical equipment, industry equipment, kiosks and vending machines, as well as mobile devices including printers and sensor networks.
This small, self-contained multi-protocol OEM module, model 713005, operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and features low power consumption, easy to embed, fast integration, and cost effectiveness. It is capable of reading and writing to transponders which are compliant with ISO 15693, ISO 14443A and ISO 18000-3 air-interface protocols.
The mini reader module boasts an on-board antenna as well as the ability to attach a standard 50 Ohm external antenna to improve the read range. It has a baud rate range of 4800 to 57600 bps which offers choices for users to accommodate their host processor requirement. The reader communicates with embedded host system through UART (TTL), I2C or SPI interface. It consumes little power: 50A in sleep mode, 15 mA in idle mode and 60 mA in scan mode. In addition, upgradable firmware provides forward compatibility for supporting future tag protocols and features.
This high performance HF RFID Mini Module belongs to GAO's family of RFID Embedded Modules. Some similar products in this line are 13.56 MHz M2 RFID Reader Module, 13.56 MHz M4 RFID Reader Module, and 13.56 MHz M9 RFID Reader Module. This family of RFID embedded modules is easy to integrate into many LF/HF RFID applications. They provide high performance, cost-effective platforms for embedding into other devices.
