. But how can it be utilized for our daily needs were not known till 1876, when William Grylls Adams found the flow of electricity when selenium exposed to the light. Later on Werner von Siemens established scientifically that it was the selenium that have converted the light into electricity and none of the others like heat or moving parts

1953 was the important year, when Silicon solar cell was produced by three scientists Calvin Fuller, Gerald Pearson and Daryl Chapin. It was the first solar cell, which was capable to run a small electrical device with solar energy. This was the new edge and initiation of harnessing the unlimited natural energy in the most usable form.

The first commercial solar cell was manufactured in 1956 at a cost of $300 for 1 watt solar cell, which was not viable for common man use due to high cost. It was used in toys and radios by rich people.

These cells were the part of American and Russian satellite space programs in the early 1960s.

Now, it was the period when scientists pushed their solar programs ahead with invention of low cost solar cells in 1970s and cost was further brought down to $20 per watt. After this, 20 years were the crucial, when the commercial applications and usage of solar power had been stretched covered to various commercial and industrial aspects. This was the period, when it started the real life routine usage of solar energy. New equipments were invented for applying the solar energy. Railroad crossings, microwave towers, telecommunications etc begun to equip with solar energy.

The last 20 years are before you, where you can see and find your life is integrated with the solar power system in such a way that you cant imagine living with. Each and every aspect of your life and electricity needs have been fulfilled by solar power system. Solar car, solar aircraft, solar machines are inherited in the life of young generations which is the most cost effective and natural way to generate electricity for all your needs.

Solar panel is a key unit made up of solar cells generates the electricity that can be inverted by inverter in the usable form. Solar equipments whether they are residential solar systems or commercial solar systems may contain one or multiple solar panels. Solar hot water system is very much popular that providing heating water requirements for us. Solar energy usage has been increased in various field of our life for personal as well for business use. Solar power system is the most affordable system that has given a new cheap source of natural energy usage.
