Women really appreciate more the ring the men gave them especially if it has diamond in it or something that gives rarity in the ring

. Women have the eternal trip of being vain that men could not understand easily when women have rare gems.

Back then, it was very interesting to note that the engagement ring does not really start as a romantic ring. It was back from the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians where the origin of engagement rings started. It symbolized the commitment of women to their men that showcases their love for each other. It was a formal declaration to the entire society. Pope Nicolas was known for his great commitment to the marriage and he had told that the ring cannot be just any other because it must a ring that is valued and treasure as the most valued metal of all.

The Venetians had discovered the diamond and it was the strongest and hardest rock of all produced by the nature. They have also discovered and mastered the art of polishing it. Also, another reference stated that it was the Anglo-Saxon that has started the tradition of engagement rings.

Nowadays, the diamond is considered as the most sought after rock for the engagement ring and as a precious one. However, there is an emerging trend that is going for old style like the Victorian engagement ring because of its legacy, rarity and history.
