Hold On Just A Little While Longer

The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Many of you are running on empty when it comes to faith. You are almost at the point where you have given up hope for what is to come and have very little to hope for. The reason for this is because life has let you down. You feel as though troubles have surrounded you and set up camp. In fact, you can not even see past the problems you are facing.

Hebrews 10:23 clearly tells us to hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. This tells me that no matter what you might be going through, your problem is not bigger than Yahweh. Nothing you may be going through or a hope you may have given up on is more than the Lord can handle. If we believe God is who He says He is, we should never lose hope. We should never give up on our faith in God. He will give you the strength to get through the storms that life has sent your way.

I'm sure some of you have lost a job. I have been laid off twice in my life time and I quickly came to the realization that the bill collectors were not concerned with my financial challenges. They still wanted their money. Have you even been put in a position where all you could do was trust God? If you have not, that could be the reason why you keep experiencing the same struggles. You have not accepted the fact that you can not solve all of your problems. I have learned that when God places you in these situations it is for His Glory.

So when you are facing adversity and all you can do is wait on God, do not lose your faith in Him. Do not allow your hope for a sunny day be clouded by the storms of today. Hold on to the hope you confess. God is faithful. The next time you feel as if the world is crumbling around you, remember that God is still in control. Patience is your best friend and it is the enemy of doubt. Be advised that these two warring fractions will continue to occupy your mind until you make peace with patience. There comes a time when the only explanation is Grace.

God will not let you down. Do not lose hope, do not give up and do not give in. Your breakthrough is right around the corner. When you feel like you done all you can do and you are hanging by a thread to your faith, remember Romans 5:5.

"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us"
