Hollywood Restaurants: So Many Flavors To Find!
Some Hollywood restaurants are full of pretty people and exclusive lists
. But truthfully there is so much more to the scene than all that. Most people don't even realize all the tasty experiences that are waiting to be found. There's exotic cuisine and comfort food. Even authentic Mexican and drive through. All waiting for the next tasty tourist!
Did you know that you could find traditional fried plantains along with creative salads with Brazilian fare in Cali? Well you can! Brazilian foods are just one of the mouth watering taste experiences you can sample. Check out Bossa Nova right on Sunset Boulevard. They have a huge beer selection and a cozy ambiance, especially later in the evening.
Calling all soul foodies! You would not believe the absolutely down home goodness you're going to find at Roscoe's House of Chicken! The chicken is moist and juicy, the waffles are just the right crispness, and when you drench it all in syrup...now you've got something worth talking about! So delicious!
Katsuya Hollywood, right on the corner of Hollywood and Vine is the place for the daring. Think dramatic sushi menu, innovative cocktails and a trendy feeling through out. It's been covered by everyone form bloggers to magazines. People just can't get enough of their delicious entree's and hip ambiance. Of course it is a tad pricier if you don't visit during happy hour, so if you have a choice try and plan for that!
Craving some really awesome Mexican food? You would probably love Loteria Grill. Easily located in the Grove Farmers Market, this little joint has been a well kept Hollywood secret for years! They have fantastic, very authentic Mexican food. The prices aren't bad either, which is cool. If you are a guacamole lover, be sure to try their guacamole and chips! I swear it's the best guacamole I've ever had.
And of course I have to mention In and Out Burger. What type of list would this be without the quintessential Cali burger joint?! I mean what can I say? I know it's just fast food. But they were the first drive through to make actual scratch burgers. That pretty much sums it up!
The last place on my list today will be the Geisha House. I was just so taken by the whole experience, I figured it would be worth mentioning. The geisha's are lovely and the ambiance of the place makes you feel like you're being transported to Japan. They do tend to attract the Hollywood beautiful people, but don't let that be a deterrent! If you can get in, do it. You will never forget it.
I hope that if you are planning on visiting the Hollywood area any time soon, this list comes in handy. Because there really is more to Hollywood restaurants than just velvet ropes and waiting lists. And all these places I mentioned; except maybe the last, are affordable and easy to get in. And even that one is just a little more expensive and snobby. But at the end of the day, it's worth it. Just another delicious day in California!
